I teach self-care workshops to companies, teams, and other groups. Clients include:
The two most common topics are how to unwind the effects of sitting and using computers in the workplace, and optimization for athletes and performing artists.
Duration is usually one hour. Group size is usually between ten and fifty. The tone is practical, fun, and inclusive. The workshops are hands-on: together, step by step, we use the simple, portable lacrosse ball as a therapy tool to relieve tension and stress in the body. Participants are empowered and happy to discover that they can feel better on their own. Usually I provide customized lacrosse balls, which participants keep afterward. Along the way, we bust a few myths and enjoy some real talk about how bodies work and what to do when we hurt. It's a good time that's good for your people!
